Almost 50 years ago Mama Mata wanted to find ways to be able to create special recipes for the various varieties of olives she had in her kitchen.
Over the years she managed to create these amazing recipes and today the Mediterranean Olive House has these recipes and has decided to give them back to you.
Using the three basic varieties of olive, Kalamata green and black, we have managed to give them those ingredients that will make them to love them.

Kalamata Olives
It has been the most prized natural food for centuries.
Naturally ripped on the tree, its colour is a combination of black and purple. Famous and recognizable by the olive lovers for its unique shape. A strong, juicy taste with a hint of fruit flavour.
Hand picked with the traditional way, it maintains all the characteristics of the variety. It is worldwide the most famous Greek variety and is a fine Mediterranean taste.

Black olives are mainly cultivated in Agrinio but also throughout the country and represent half of the production of the edible olives in Greece.
